His expertise spans conducting investigations (both internal and external), inspections, examinations and audits, and establishing, supervising and monitoring compliance and risk management programs (including developing written compliance policies and procedures, monitoring such, and assessing their effectiveness). Gus previously served as Assistant Vice President, Assistant Secretary, and Assistant General Counsel at Calvert Investments, Inc. from April 2005 to September 2015.

He holds a Juris Doctor degree in Law from Thurgood Marshall School of Law, Texas Southern University and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science from Tennessee State University.
